Maître Stéphanie Makoumbou at her office, in Diekirch

What happens at your first appointment

The first appointment is a confidential 30-minute conversation, in French or English. It is there to understand your situation, answer your first questions and set out, transparently, the options open to you. You leave with a clearer view of the next steps, with no obligation.

Useful documents to prepare

Depending on your case, it can help to bring a form of ID, any documents about your family situation (marriage certificate, judgment, agreement, correspondence) and, for non-EU nationals, your residence permit. If you do not have everything to hand, it is not a problem: this first conversation is precisely there to take stock.

Fees

Fees are discussed clearly from the first conversation, according to your situation and the nature of your case, with no grey areas. You know what to expect before committing.
